Werkstatt Zeichnen: Drawing the museum collections (19+ years)
Werkstatt Zeichnen III and IV
These courses are held in German but the instructor can give advice and assistence in English.
Both beginners and advanced students will find help in developing their drawing skills. Under expert guidance participants approach the museum's originals. They will learn various drawing techniques—from suitable image composition to the correct use of hatching.

Werkstatt Zeichnen I (11 – 14 years)
Anyone who enjoys drawing with a pencil is welcome. Precise perception is schooled on suitable objects from the museum. Under expert guidance and by various methods participants are introduced to the basics of drawing.
Werkstatt Zeichnen II (15 – 18 years)
Aimed at those interested in developing their drawing skills this course provides individual support in drawing selected objects from the museum. Thus training, among other things, the interplay of perception and constructive thinking.

Malstudio: acrylic painting inspired by the collections
This course is held in German but the instructor can give advice and assistence in English.
Malstudio
This course introduces the participants to the classical design aspects of colour, form and composition. They study their implementation in the works of the Old and New Masters on display. Inspiration for the participant's own paintings derives from the permanent and special exhibitions. The paintings are created in the museum's own workshop.

Get to Know the Landesmuseum
Get to Know the Landesmuseum
This entertaining tour presents the museum as a treasure trove of natural, historical and artisctic rareties and curiosities. These include weapons, skeletons, mummies, gold and precious stones.
Additionally questions about the function of a museum are being answered. Who works at a museum? Who decides what is exhibited and worth collecting? What role do values and security play? What makes a museum different from other places?
This tour is especially suited for school trips, excursions and student exchange groups with little time.
Languages: The tour is available in German, English, Italian and French.
